Modern website users skip typing www. prefix to your domain name and expect it to work.
So you bought the custom domain name and moved your blog to new domain. You followed all the steps and created the DNS record by logging into domain registrar. But even after creating the proper A records and CNAME records, you are unable to launch your website without typing www.Your website is launched with www.mywebsite.com but when you type mywebsite.com, it doesn't launch your homepage. Problem could be simpler than you think.
Login to your blogger account. Next to your blog, select the dropdown menu and launch 'Setting'. By default, basic setting would be launched. In 'Publishing' section, click on the edit icon next to your website.
In the 'Blog Address' below your website URL, you will find an option to redirect your domain without www to proper URL. Select the check-box. If you don't have this option visible, wait till have this option available and revisit setting to select the check-box.
Give it some time until change takes effect.
Now type mywebsite.com and see that your www.mywebsite.com launched.
Now type mywebsite.com and see that your www.mywebsite.com launched.
